Jorge & Anna

Make it a trip, not just a wedding.

You're flying across the world for us so, stay a few days. This is our city, and this is exactly how we'd show it to you. Pick your plan: 3, 5 or 7 days. Every extra day earns its place.

  1. The Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Fountain lit up at night

    Day 1

    1. Morning: Start where Dubai started. Get lost in the lanes of Al Fahidi, have breakfast at Arabian Tea House (trust us), then cross the Creek on an abra, one dirham, best ride in the city. Haggle badly in the gold and spice souks; it's part of the fun.
    2. Afternoon: Dubai Mall at your own pace. Then go up the Burj Khalifa just before sunset and watch the city switch on. Back on the ground: the fountains dance every half hour from 6pm.
    3. Evening: Dinner at Time Out Market. Enjoy cuisines around the world at one place.
  2. Palm Jumeirah from above

    Day 2

    1. Morning: The View at The Palm, one photo up there explains the whole city.
    2. Afternoon: Long lunch on the Palm and a slow walk along West Beach with Atlantis The Royal behind you. Take the monorail back just for the views.
    3. Evening: Walk the Marina, JBR and Blue Waters, skyline on one side, sea on the other. Dinner wherever smells best.
  3. A four-by-four on the dunes at sunset

    Day 3

    1. Morning: Rest at the pool, because at 2:30pm the desert calls.
    2. Afternoon/Evening: Desert Safari with dune bashing, camels, sandboarding, sunset in the sand, and dinner under the stars at a Bedouin-style camp. November desert nights are perfect. Do not skip this one.
  4. Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque at dusk

    Day 4

    1. Morning: Road trip to Abu Dhabi. Stop by Saadiyat Island, where the Louvre, the Zayed National Museum and teamLab Phenomena sit within walking distance of each other.
    2. Afternoon: We recommend to have lunch at Abd Al Wahab, with Grand Mosque views. Right before the sunset go to Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque first, dress modestly, prepare to be quiet for a while.
    3. Evening: Most probably you will be tired so, come back to Dubai and rest.
  5. The Burj Al Arab at sunset, with people on the beach

    Day 5

    1. Morning: Swim at Kite Beach with the skyline floating behind the water.
    2. Afternoon: Canals and souk of Madinat Jumeirah. Then the moment: Sunset Beach at golden hour, the sun dropping right behind the Burj Al Arab. We recommend Brix Cafe, close to the beach, amazing food.
    3. Evening: End at City Walk, open-air streets, murals, dinner at Flaky Pastry outside. This weather is what that place was built for.
  6. Global Village pavilions lit up at night

    Day 6

    1. Morning: You can ski in the desert, and yes, you should, Ski Dubai in the morning, purely for the absurdity of it.
    2. Afternoon: From 4pm: Global Village. Ninety countries, food from all of them, fireworks over the lake. Cheap, chaotic, wonderful. Come hungry.
  7. The Downtown skyline framed by the arches at Dubai Creek Harbour

    Day 7

    1. Morning: Walk around Dubai Creek Harbour, the views of Dubai Downtown from there is the best one. If you didn't go to Flaky Pastry in City Walk, here you have another chance.
    2. Afternoon: The great Dubai institution: brunch. Long, loud, legendary. Find the one that suit you.
    3. Evening: Chill, and re-visit whatever you loved the most.
